Historic Milwaukee Doors Open

Constructed in 1903, this newly renovated mixed-use building is home to McKenna Real Estate offices on the 1st level and an apartment on the 2nd. The building itself has a special place in Milwaukee music history. Roughly two decades ago it was home to the Jazz Oasis. Though the club itself looks different on the inside, the owner tends to keep the art vibe alive! The building hosts two new murals. “Heart & Soul” by Tia Richardson, which is one of 4 local Milwaukee murals made possible by the Milwaukee Bucks and Jack Daniels. “Jazz Oasis” by Sherman Pitts, pays homage to the building’s past and the Milwaukee Jazz scene! Inside, the walls will be filled with art you can purchase and/or admire from amazing local Milwaukee area artists. Outside, you will find a beautiful city garden with ornamental pines. During the event, McKenna Real Estate will host live music to enjoy as you tour the property or relax on the outdoor patio.
